Well, I've been wanting to put together a post of our July vacation to Higgins Lake, but with over 200 photos to choose from, I've been having trouble narrowing it down.... I am working on a slide show to share a small amount of those photos. In the mean time, here are some photos of our dog Beau enjoying vacation... :)
He loves the water. This was the first year (at age 7!!) that he was finally content to just hang out in the water without someone throwing a ball for him every second. He was interested in looking down at minnows, watching ducks (thankfully not chasing them), and feeling for things with his paws on the lake's sandy bottom.
Playing fetch is still his favorite lake activity. He loves running down the long deck, jumping off and then climbing back out for more. 
Deck depression. This is Beau's standard longing look, usually accompanied by some whining, when he gets left up on the deck while the rest of us go out to play in the water.
There are lots of family members to play with - more to love about vacations to the lake!
