A Day at the Zoo

On Labor Day weekend, Matthew & I enjoyed a visit from Aunt Michelle and Anna & Alexa while Tim and Uncle Barrett hit the trail on their annual backpacking trip with some college friends. Matthew enjoyed watching his older cousins play, and he liked it even more when they played with him.A special memory will be our trip to the zoo. We got to see animals from all over the globe, and even touch stingrays! One of the first large animals we saw was a snow leopard which is now endangered, but used to be very common in Matthew's birth country, Kyrgyzstan. What a pretty kitty! Monkeys, of all types, shapes, and sizes are my favorite things to see at the zoo.
Here are the kids in front of some large deer.
It sure was a fun and maybe even a "wild" weekend!! :)

Kim,

It is great to hear how things are going. Matthew is a cutie and it looks like he is filling out quite a bit. You guys need to come down and visit Noah and Emma for the day. They would just love him to pieces!!
