For years, Tim and I have wanted to go to the annual air show in our area; however, Tim was always gone on his yearly backpacking trip. With this year's wilderness trip cancelled, we took advantage of the opportunity to get out to see the planes on Labor Day. We were bummed by the cool cloudy weather, but grateful to receive 2 free tickets from the guy in the car next to us as we entered. Matthew had a blast! Nathan was startled by the noise that these planes can make (of course he refused to wear any ear protection -- except my hands), and Tim knew the name of nearly every jet we saw. We met up with my brother and 2 of his kids; it was such a fun day!
