Many of our very favorite memories each year are made at Higgins Lake, and I have to say that there is just no time like cabin time!! It is such a blessing to enjoy the beauty of God's creation, play in the water, be relaxed and refreshed as we spend time together with family. Tim has endless memories from his youth of summer fun at Higgins Lake with his family, and we are so grateful that our children have a chance to make memories of their own as well.
The boys had such fun with "Nana" and "Pop-pop" throughout the week and loved every minute of time with their cousins during the weekend. A favorite memory of Matthew's (age 5) is going with Pop-pop and Daddy to help rescue a boat that had run out of gas in the middle of the lake. He also liked going on some fast jet-ski and tube rides for the first time. Nathan (age 22 mos.) enjoyed jumping in the cooooollllldddd water (as long as someone was catching him), and having his first ice cream cone. He made me laugh on Saturday afternoon while he shared a room with his cousin, Hannah, for naptime. Hannah (14 mos.) was "talking" in her pack'n play, and we kept hearing Nathan say, "Huss!!" (Hush!) through the baby monitor. Shortly after they were both sound asleep!
