The Saturday following Thanksgiving, we headed out to a local tree farm in search of the perfect Christmas tree. This year it was such fun to have Matthew participate in this part of our Christmas tradition - last year, he napped through it all!
It's been a while since we've walked on snow. Matthew just loved that crunchin' sound!
" How 'bout this one, mom and dad?"
The joy of keeping track of mittens!
Here it is!
We loaded up the truck and headed home. When Matthew awoke from his nap he was quite excited to see a TREE in our HOUSE!

I'm not sure what Matthew may or may not remember from his first Christmas with us last year, but apparently he remembers taking pictures in front of the tree. For the first few days our tree was up, he just kept running in and standing or sitting in front of it while saying, "Cheese!" Since he wanted his picture taken, we couldn't help but oblige him a time or two...

Matthew looks like such a big kid in these pictures. Where is the time going? So what's the word on getting together? I haven't heard back from you. Send me an email, so we can get something on the calender.
