Well, for the last 2 or 3 years, we've had our lifegroup over for a Memorial Day cookout.
It's always a fun way to start the summer.
We've grilled everything from swordfish to frozen burgers (well, we tried!), and we've seen some interesting eating habits.

Not to mention some victories and heartaches on the "Cornhole" boards and the ping-pong table.
One year, two of our friends even "tied the knot" right in our back yard!(Happy Anniversary, Jon & Kourtney!)
This year it was pretty cool out, so the girls & kids spent most of their time indoors...
While the guys toughed it out on the patio.
Melissa baked a DELICIOUS cake in celebration of Ramy's birthday.
And you-know-who was more than happy to help blow out the candles!We're so thankful for our friends from church and any time we get to spend with them. There have been so many exciting, even miraculous, things happening in each of our lives. It is a joy to seek and serve God along with brothers and sisters in Christ like these.
